Masterson’s Tavern , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I experienced behind its doors was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.

The floors were sticky , and a pungent odor of decaying beverages and dirty bathrooms suffused the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of ammonia , a rotting odor and a sickly smell.
